The chart below gives the average material length required to stitch a shirt using fabrics with different widths. These values will vary depending on the pattern of the shirt as well as the preference of the Master Tailor. Here are NVK, we deal with primarily 58” width fabrics and hence provide various fabric multiples which are sufficient for all purposes.
